Our core network is linked up by major IP transit and dark fibre providers. These link our routers at each site to the wider internet, and between each data centre, creating a resilient ring-network. We use Zayo & Colt (Lumen Technologies), which empowers for 400GB ring network, with individual links to AWS, Google, Cogent, LINX, LoNAP, etc. This enables lightning fast connectivity to many cloud and international networks.

Because we use third-party networks and data centres, we’re able to cherry pick the best networks, using diverse routes and creating a network that is unbeaten in terms of performance & reliability.  This also means, as we’re not tied to one single provider, we’re not subject to a single point of failure due to an outage or attack. 

With DDOS attacks becoming more frequent and larger in size, having a diverse portfolio of networks, outside our our control is beneficial of steering traffic through the most uncongested route. Adding a mitigation layer, such as Cloudflare, results in a virtually always available network.
